MP Gokyo Food & Chemical markets TAMAVISCO® worldwide, a 100% plant-based rheology modifier derived from Tamarind seeds. We are pleased to announce that MP Gokyo Food & Chemical has expanded its exclusive distributorship agreement for TAMAVISCO® with DKSH’s Business Unit Performance Materials, a leading distributor of specialty chemicals and ingredients, to Canada and the USA, following our successful collaboration in key European markets, including Denmark, Finland, France, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and the UK.

TAMAVISCO® is an “advanced” plant-based polymer by upcycling the seeds of Tamarindus Indica L., which are by-products of edible tamarind fruit pulps. It functions as a thickener with luxurious sensory profile and as a unique gelling agent to bring fresh ideas of textures. TAMAVISCO® was launched in July 2021 to meet the growing demands of clean and safe ingredients in cosmetics and personal care markets.
